Protein rich vegetarian salad for breakfast helps in loosing weight

Protein in an important building block of our body which is required for making muscles in our body. Some time healthy looking people can not identify with in themselves that they have more of fat not muscle in their heavy body composition. Also for vegetarians, the choice of having protein rich food is limited.
Here is quick healthy protein rich , oil free breakfast recipe for vegetarians which definitely help in loose weight and increase protein intake

Chickpeas Salad - Healthy Protein rich Breakfast recipe

Time to make - 45 minutes

Ingredients:

1 Bowl of chickpeas
Two onion
One big ripe tomato
Handful of chopped mint and coriander leafs
One boiled potato
1 lemon
2 Green chilies, deseeded
Chat masala or oregano herb
Freshly ground black pepper
Salt to taste


Cooking steps:


  • Soak the chickpeas with enough water overnight or at least 8 hours.
  • Pressure cook the chickpeas with water and salt until done. Drain the extra water.
  • Chopped onion, tomato and green chillies in a big bowl. Add the boiled chickpeas into it.
  • Add lemon juice, pepper and salt according to taste. Mix well.
  • Add mint and coriander leafs and some more lemon juice. Add chat masala and herbs and mix well.
  • Super healthy oil free , rich in protein salad is ready to grab.Enjoy......
